Amy: There are 2 main reasons why I love to be thrifty. See those 2 kids in the picture above? They are my world and Reason #1. Justin is 3 years old and Tommy will be 1 in April. The more I read and hear about the food that we put into our bodies, the more I want to go back to nature for their benefit. However, like most of the world – we are not millionaires and as much as I would love to go to a completely organic diet – we can’t. I’ve decided to start couponing as a way to decrease our grocery bills in order to purchase more organic foods – to stretch our dollars I suppose. Reason #2 is that I LOVE TO SHOP! If I buy things at the lowest price possible, it enables me to buy more…I have a true addiction to shopping for my boys. They have more clothes than most little girls, but I dont pay much for them so that helps. I have much more to learn about being thrifty – but I hope to discover that along the way – we all have to start somewhere!
